Pick a nearby town, district, or destination and decide where to start and one anchor stop if you need it. Agree on a spending limit and when to head home, then take turns choosing each stop as the day unfolds. If a full day isn’t practical, explore an unfamiliar local neighborhood instead. Finish by sharing the stop you never would have found with a fixed itinerary.
