A little time for the two of you
Market Mystery Challenge
Two mystery picks. One shared food experiment.

A surprise from the market
Start at a farmers market if one is convenient—or use a flea market, international grocery, specialty food shop, or ordinary grocery store—then each choose one unfamiliar edible find and turn both picks into a meal, snack, tasting, or shared food experiment.
Choose the most interesting food-shopping option available. A farmers market is the preferred version when one is convenient, but a flea market with food vendors, international grocery store, specialty food market, or ordinary grocery store works just as well.
Set a modest budget and browse before buying. Each partner chooses one edible ingredient, snack, drink, spice, sauce, fruit, or other food item that feels unfamiliar or interesting. Reveal both choices at the same time.
Then decide together how to use them. Build a simple meal, create a snack board, make a tasting flight, invent a dessert or drink pairing, or create another shared food experience. The two selections do not have to go into the same dish if forcing them together would be terrible.
Finish by rating each discovery for surprise factor, taste, and whether you would buy it again. The winning find earns a place on the future shopping list.
