Each partner selects sweet, savory, and unexpected small bites for the other, then serves them slowly in a private setting before a final hand-fed winner round.
Each partner secretly chooses three small foods for the other: one sweet, one savory, and one unexpected but welcome. Check allergies and dietary restrictions first and keep portions small; this is a tasting, not dinner. Set up somewhere more private and intentional than the normal kitchen table, such as the couch, bedroom floor, or a blanket indoors. One partner serves first, presenting each bite and explaining why they chose it. The receiver rates taste, surprise, and whether they would want it again. Switch roles. Each person chooses one winning bite from the other partner’s selections. For the final round, feed each other those winning bites directly if both enjoy that kind of interaction, then put the food away. Hand-feeding is optional and the date works with normal utensils if preferred.
