Create three private signals before going out, including a mutual ‘ready to leave and be alone’ signal that both partners must independently send.

Before going out, invent three subtle signals only the two of you know. Signal 1 means ‘You look ridiculously good right now.’ Signal 2 means ‘I want your attention.’ Signal 3 means ‘I am ready to end the public part and be alone with you.’ Choose a simple acknowledgment that means the signal was noticed. Go somewhere ordinary and broadly available such as dessert, coffee, a bookstore, a casual restaurant, or an evening walk. Each person tries to use the first two signals naturally without involving strangers. Either person may send the third signal when they are genuinely ready to leave, but the public portion ends only after both people have independently sent it. Signals express interest, not automatic permission for touch or anything later. Do not use the game while driving or anywhere that requires full attention.
